Podzol is a different type of dirt like coarse dirt. It is found in Mega Taiga biomes and is very similar to Dirt. Podzol can be found under spruce trees. You can only pick up the item with a silk touch enchanted tool, if not then it will just dirt into dirt. It is important to note that Podzol are very similar to Mycelium in the fact that you can go Mushrooms on it to make Giant Mushrooms.
